Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Pour in the melted butter and mix it into the mashed bananas.
  4. Stir in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract—mix well.
  6. Gradually incorporate the flour, mixing just until combined; avoid overmixing to keep the muffins airy.
  7. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased muffin tin, filling each cup until about two-thirds full.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
