Description
A warm, cheesy flatbread pizza topped with BBQ chicken, perfect for weeknight meals.
Ingredients
- 2 flatbreads (8–10-inch) — thin naan, lavash, or store-bought pizza flatbreads
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until coated.
- Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- Spread the BBQ chicken mixture evenly across each flatbread, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the chicken, then add red onion slices.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese melts and is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with cilantro, and let rest for 1–2 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3–4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
