Description

Warm, cheesy sliders filled with fluffy scrambled eggs and savory sausage, perfect for brunch or breakfast gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns (soft dinner rolls), split into top and bottom halves
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 8 large eggs
  • 68 cheese slices (cheddar, American, or Monterey Jack)
  • 23 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish for the sliders.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat, crumble in the sausage, and cook until well browned.
  3. Transfer cooked sausage to a plate, draining excess fat if necessary.
  4. Reduce pan heat to medium-low, add eggs, and scramble gently until just set.
  5. Slice the slider buns horizontally and place the bottoms in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Evenly distribute the cooked sausage over the buns, then add scrambled eggs on top.
  7. Tear or fold cheese slices to cover the eggs, then place the tops of the buns over the cheese.
  8. Brush the tops with melted butter and bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese has melted and buns are lightly toasted.
  9. Serve warm, cut into sliders, and enjoy!

Notes

For a leaner option, use turkey sausage or chicken sausage. Gluten-free rolls can replace slider buns for a GF version.
