Description

Quick and satisfying breakfast sliders with seasoned sausage, scrambled eggs, and melted cheese on soft slider buns.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 8 large eggs
  • 68 cheese slices (cheddar, American, or Monterey Jack)
  • 23 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the breakfast sausage until fully browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Using the same skillet, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper, cooking until just set but still moist.
  4. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Distribute the sausage over the bun bottoms, spoon scrambled eggs over the sausage, and layer cheese on top.
  6. Cap with the top halves of the buns and brush with melted butter.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the cheese is melted and buns are lightly toasted. Let rest for 1–2 minutes before serving.

Notes

Swap sausage for plant-based options for a vegetarian dish. Use dairy-free butter and cheese for a dairy-free version. Assemble the night before for convenience.
