Description
These cheeseburger sliders turn a simple pound of ground beef into tiny, juicy sandwiches, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 fat ratio)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Slider buns
- Slices of American or cheddar cheese
- Lettuce, tomatoes, pickles
- Ketchup and mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or a heavy skillet over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
- Combine the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, a pinch of salt, and a few grinds of pepper.
- Divide the meat into small portions and form patties slightly smaller than the slider buns.
- Place the patties on the preheated grill or pan. Cook about 3–4 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- In the last minute of cooking, place a cheese slice on each patty and cover loosely.
- Toast slider buns lightly on the cut side if desired.
- Assemble: bun bottom, warm patty with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato slice, pickles, and condiments.
Notes
For a lighter version, use ground turkey or chicken. To avoid sogginess, keep wet toppings separate until serving.
