Description

These cheeseburger sliders turn a simple pound of ground beef into tiny, juicy sandwiches, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 fat ratio)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Slider buns
  • Slices of American or cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce, tomatoes, pickles
  • Ketchup and mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or a heavy skillet over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  2. Combine the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, a pinch of salt, and a few grinds of pepper.
  3. Divide the meat into small portions and form patties slightly smaller than the slider buns.
  4. Place the patties on the preheated grill or pan. Cook about 3–4 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  5. In the last minute of cooking, place a cheese slice on each patty and cover loosely.
  6. Toast slider buns lightly on the cut side if desired.
  7. Assemble: bun bottom, warm patty with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato slice, pickles, and condiments.

Notes

For a lighter version, use ground turkey or chicken. To avoid sogginess, keep wet toppings separate until serving.
