Description
Soft, sweet Kings Hawaiian rolls stuffed with ranch, smoky bacon, and tender shredded chicken. Perfect for family dinners or potlucks.
Ingredients
- 1 package Kings Hawaiian rolls (usually 12 connected rolls)
- 2–3 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken is ideal)
- 6–8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- 3/4 to 1 cup ranch dressing
- 6–8 slices cheese (optional — cheddar, provolone, or pepper jack)
- 3–4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey)
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, chopped bacon, and ranch dressing. Stir until evenly coated and add black pepper if desired.
- Place the connected rolls on a baking sheet and slice horizontally so the top remains attached to the bottom.
- Spread the chicken-bacon mixture evenly across the bottom half of the rolls.
- If using cheese, lay slices over the chicken layer.
- Close the sliders by replacing the top half of the rolls.
- Melt butter and whisk in the maple syrup. Brush the mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until the tops are golden and the filling is hot.
- Remove from oven, let rest for 2–3 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for convenience. Optionally substitute turkey for chicken. Store leftover sliders in an airtight container for 3–4 days.
