Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas using a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
  5. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing everything thoroughly.
  6. Gradually fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined, then gently mix in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
