Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans) or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8-inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Add honey and melted butter to the bananas, mixing well to combine.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt until fully incorporated.
- Gradually fold in the flour and optional cinnamon, mixing until just combined.
- If desired, fold in chopped nuts or chocolate chips for an added crunch or sweetness.
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean to check for doneness.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or toaster oven.
