Description

A quick and satisfying toast topped with creamy cottage cheese and mashed avocado, perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado (medium to large)
  • 2 slices of bread (whole grain, sourdough, or gluten-free)
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (about 1/2 cup per slice)
  • 12 teaspoons honey (optional, to taste)
  • Everything Bagel seasoning, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Toast the bread until golden and crisp.
  2. Halve the avocado, scoop the flesh into a bowl and mash with a fork. Stir in lemon juice.
  3. Spread the avocado mixture evenly over each toasted slice.
  4. Spoon cottage cheese over the avocado — about 1/2 cup per slice.
  5. Drizzle with honey if desired, and finish with Everything Bagel seasoning. Serve immediately.

Notes

Best enjoyed immediately after preparation. Components can be stored separately for up to 48 hours.
