Ingredients
- 2 slices whole grain bread
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of fine salt
Instructions
- Toast the bread in a toaster or under the broiler until golden and crisp (about 2–4 minutes).
- In a small bowl, add a pinch of salt to the cottage cheese and stir or whisk until smooth and fluffy.
- Slice the banana into thin, even rounds.
- Spread an even layer of cottage cheese over each slice of toast.
- Arrange banana rounds in a single layer on top of the cottage cheese.
- Drizzle with honey or maple syrup if using.
- Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and serve immediately.
Notes
