Description

Irresistibly delicious green beans combined with savory bacon and a sweet, sticky sauce, perfect for family dinners or festive gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 5 cans (14.5 oz each) cut green beans, drained
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until they’re nice and crisp. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Spread the drained green beans in the baking dish. Pour the sauce over and toss to coat.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top for that irresistible crunch.
  6. Bake uncovered for about 25-30 minutes until the dish is bubbling and slightly thickened.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can substitute the bacon with turkey bacon for a lighter option or use alternative plant-based proteins for a vegetarian twist.
