Ingredients
- 5 cans (14.5 oz each) cut green beans, drained
- 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until they’re nice and crisp. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
- In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
- Spread the drained green beans in the baking dish. Pour the sauce over and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top for that irresistible crunch.
- Bake uncovered for about 25-30 minutes until the dish is bubbling and slightly thickened.
