Description

Delightful crispy salmon bites drenched in a spicy and creamy Bang Bang sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or special gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillets, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1-2 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Chopped parsley, green onions, or sesame seeds for garnish
  • Lime wedges (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels.
  2. Toss the salmon pieces with olive oil and spices in a large bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
  4. For cooking, choose one of the following methods:
  5. Pan-Searing: Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook the salmon for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Baking: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the salmon on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Air Frying: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook the salmon in a single layer for 8-10 minutes.
  8. Drizzle or toss the cooked salmon bites in the Bang Bang sauce.
  9. Garnish with parsley, green onions, or sesame seeds, and serve warm with lime wedges.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. For best results, reheat in the oven or air fryer to retain crispiness.
