Description

A comforting and satisfying dish featuring tender shredded chicken in a creamy sauce over angel hair pasta, perfect for busy weeknights and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet of Italian dressing mix
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 8 ounces of angel hair pasta
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your Crock Pot.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, and chicken broth. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  3. Cover the Crock Pot and set it on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  4. In the last half hour, prepare the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions.
  5. Shred the chicken inside the sauce and mix everything well.
  6. Serve over the cooked pasta, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding sliced mushrooms or steamed broccoli in the last hour of cooking. Use cornstarch for a thicker sauce if desired.
