Description
Whimsical dessert layers of creamy chocolate pudding and cookie crumbs, topped with gummy worms.
Ingredients
- 20 chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
- 1 box (3.9 ounces) of instant chocolate pudding
- 2 cups cold milk (skim or 2% recommended)
- 1 container (8 ounces) of frozen whipped topping, thawed (like Cool Whip)
- 30 gummy worms
Instructions
- Arrange 10 clear plastic cups on a cookie sheet or serving tray.
- Use a food processor to crush the Oreos until they resemble fine dirt; set aside.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together cold milk and instant chocolate pudding until combined. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.
- Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the pudding mixture until smooth.
- Spoon two dollops of the pudding mixture into each cup.
- Add a layer of the crushed cookies on top of the pudding.
- Repeat the process with another dollop of pudding followed by more crushed cookies, creating layers.
- Finish each cup by placing 3 gummy worms on top.
- Chill in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.
Notes
Can be made ahead of time. Best enjoyed within 2-3 days when stored in the refrigerator.
