Description

Whimsical dessert layers of creamy chocolate pudding and cookie crumbs, topped with gummy worms.

Ingredients

  • 20 chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
  • 1 box (3.9 ounces) of instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 cups cold milk (skim or 2% recommended)
  • 1 container (8 ounces) of frozen whipped topping, thawed (like Cool Whip)
  • 30 gummy worms

Instructions

  1. Arrange 10 clear plastic cups on a cookie sheet or serving tray.
  2. Use a food processor to crush the Oreos until they resemble fine dirt; set aside.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together cold milk and instant chocolate pudding until combined. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.
  4. Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the pudding mixture until smooth.
  5. Spoon two dollops of the pudding mixture into each cup.
  6. Add a layer of the crushed cookies on top of the pudding.
  7. Repeat the process with another dollop of pudding followed by more crushed cookies, creating layers.
  8. Finish each cup by placing 3 gummy worms on top.
  9. Chill in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.

Notes

Can be made ahead of time. Best enjoyed within 2-3 days when stored in the refrigerator.
