Description

A luscious, no-bake dessert that combines layers of Oreo cookies, cream cheese, and chocolate pudding for a deliciously creamy treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Oreo cookies (about 1416 oz)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 2 cups instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • Additional Cool Whip for topping (about 1 to 1.5 cups)
  • Crushed Oreos for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper for easy removal and cleanup.
  2. Make the Crust: Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor and mix them with the melted butter. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Create the Cream Cheese Layer: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Gently fold in the Cool Whip and spread this mixture evenly over the Oreo crust.
  4. Whisk the Pudding: In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened. Spread this layer over the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Top it Off: Smooth additional Cool Whip on top of the pudding layer and sprinkle with crushed Oreos for that extra crunch.
  6. Chill: Cover the lasagna and refrigerate for at least four hours, or overnight for the best results.
  7. Serve Cold: Slice into squares and serve chilled, enjoying the delightful layers.

Notes

For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and Cool Whip. To store, cover tightly and refrigerate for 3-4 days.
