Description
Creamy and chocolatey fudge popsicles that are easy to make and perfect for cooling down on hot summer days.
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar.
- Whisk in the unsweetened cocoa powder until there are no lumps.
- Add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, whisking until fully blended.
- Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving space at the top for expansion.
- Insert popsicle sticks into each mold.
- Place in the freezer and let them freeze for 4-6 hours until firm.
- To remove, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds.
Notes
For smoother popsicles, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve before pouring into molds. You can also add layers of fruit for a fun twist.
