Description
Warm and cheesy ham and cheese sliders baked in a buttery glaze, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 (12-count) pack Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 8–10 oz thinly sliced deli ham
- 8 oz sliced Swiss or provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
- Nonstick spray or extra butter for greasing the baking dish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Slice the roll package horizontally and place the bottom sheet in the pan.
- Layer the ham over the bottom buns, then top with cheese.
- Replace the top halves, pressing gently.
- Whisk together melted butter, mustard, Worcestershire, brown sugar, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
- Brush two-thirds of the mixture over the rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for 12–15 minutes.
- Remove foil, brush remaining butter mixture, and bake uncovered for 3–5 minutes.
- Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden finish.
- Let rest for 3–5 minutes, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
These sliders can be customized with different cheeses or additional fillings. For a lighter option, consider turkey and cheese sliders.
