Description

Warm and cheesy ham and cheese sliders baked in a buttery glaze, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 (12-count) pack Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 810 oz thinly sliced deli ham
  • 8 oz sliced Swiss or provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
  • Nonstick spray or extra butter for greasing the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Slice the roll package horizontally and place the bottom sheet in the pan.
  3. Layer the ham over the bottom buns, then top with cheese.
  4. Replace the top halves, pressing gently.
  5. Whisk together melted butter, mustard, Worcestershire, brown sugar, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
  6. Brush two-thirds of the mixture over the rolls.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 12–15 minutes.
  8. Remove foil, brush remaining butter mixture, and bake uncovered for 3–5 minutes.
  9. Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden finish.
  10. Let rest for 3–5 minutes, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

These sliders can be customized with different cheeses or additional fillings. For a lighter option, consider turkey and cheese sliders.
