Warm, buttery sliders featuring deli ham and melted cheese, topped with a poppy-seed Dijon butter glaze.
Ingredients
- 12 sweet Hawaiian rolls
- 12 slices deli ham
- 12 slices Swiss or cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the Hawaiian roll sheet horizontally and place the bottom half in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer the ham evenly over the bottom rolls, then add cheese slices on top.
- Cover with the top half of the rolls, aligning the seams.
- Whisk together melted butter, poppy seeds, Dijon mustard, and onion powder until smooth.
- Brush the butter mixture generously on top of the rolls.
- Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
- Let sliders rest for 2-3 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider turkey and cheese sliders. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
