Description

Warm, buttery sliders featuring deli ham and melted cheese, topped with a poppy-seed Dijon butter glaze.

Ingredients

  • 12 sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 slices deli ham
  • 12 slices Swiss or cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian roll sheet horizontally and place the bottom half in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Layer the ham evenly over the bottom rolls, then add cheese slices on top.
  4. Cover with the top half of the rolls, aligning the seams.
  5. Whisk together melted butter, poppy seeds, Dijon mustard, and onion powder until smooth.
  6. Brush the butter mixture generously on top of the rolls.
  7. Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
  9. Let sliders rest for 2-3 minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider turkey and cheese sliders. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
