Description

A simple and fresh homemade Italian dressing made with extra-virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar, perfect for salads and marinades.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Pour 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil and 1/2 cup red wine vinegar into a bowl or jar.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon onion powder.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Whisk or shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds until combined.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Let the dressing rest for 10-30 minutes before using.

Notes

Store in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Shake before use if separation occurs.
