Description
A refreshing and healthier alternative to store-bought frozen snacks, these homemade yogurt-and-berry popsicles are easy to make and packed with fruity goodness.
Ingredients
- 1 cup yogurt (plain or flavored)
- 1 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or a mix)
- 2–3 tablespoons honey (optional, adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the yogurt, berries, honey (if using), and vanilla. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth, about 20 to 40 seconds.
- Carefully pour the blended mixture into popsicle molds, leaving about 1/4 inch (5-7 mm) of space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
- Add popsicle sticks and place the molds upright in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours, but overnight is best for firm pops.
- To serve, run warm water over the outside of the mold for 10 to 20 seconds to help release it, then gently pull out the popsicle.
Notes
Use ripe, high-quality berries for the best flavor. If you prefer a sweeter treat, taste the mixture before freezing and adjust the honey as desired.
