Description

A refreshing and healthier alternative to store-bought frozen snacks, these homemade yogurt-and-berry popsicles are easy to make and packed with fruity goodness.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup yogurt (plain or flavored)
  • 1 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or a mix)
  • 23 tablespoons honey (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the yogurt, berries, honey (if using), and vanilla. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth, about 20 to 40 seconds.
  2. Carefully pour the blended mixture into popsicle molds, leaving about 1/4 inch (5-7 mm) of space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
  3. Add popsicle sticks and place the molds upright in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours, but overnight is best for firm pops.
  4. To serve, run warm water over the outside of the mold for 10 to 20 seconds to help release it, then gently pull out the popsicle.

Notes

Use ripe, high-quality berries for the best flavor. If you prefer a sweeter treat, taste the mixture before freezing and adjust the honey as desired.
