Description
A delightful Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon that combines sweet and savory flavors, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (skin-on), about 6 oz each
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until well combined. Set aside half for later.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until it’s shimmering.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet, gently pressing with a spatula for about 10 seconds. Cook until the skin turns golden brown, around 4 minutes.
- Carefully flip the fillets and brush with half of the marinade. Cook for another 3 to 4 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and place it on a plate. Drizzle with the reserved glaze, and let it rest for 1 to 2 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For a different sweetness, use maple syrup or coconut aminos as alternatives.
