Description
A quick and flavorful honey garlic glaze that enhances the natural flavors of tender salmon.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create a smooth glaze.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet, skin-side down.
- Generously brush the prepared glaze over each salmon fillet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flaky.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh lemon wedges and chopped green onions if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, let the salmon marinate in the glaze for 15-30 minutes before baking. Consider using low-sodium soy sauce for a healthier option.
