Description
These sliders feature crispy bacon, juicy chicken, and a sweet-tangy honey mustard sauce for a delicious mini meal or snack.
Ingredients
- 12 Tyson chicken sliders (frozen; cook according to package)
- 8–12 slices thick-cut bacon
- 12 slider buns (Hawaiian or classic dinner rolls)
- Romaine or Iceberg lettuce leaves
- 1–2 medium ripe tomatoes, sliced thinly
- Honey mustard sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Optional: sliced cheddar or pepper jack, pickles, or lemon
Instructions
- Preheat and prepare: Follow the Tyson chicken slider package directions; cook until fully heated through.
- Crisp the bacon: Fry thick-cut bacon in a skillet over medium heat for 8–12 minutes or bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–18 minutes.
- Prep produce: Wash and dry lettuce leaves, and slice the tomato thinly. Pat tomatoes to remove excess moisture.
- Warm the buns (optional): Toast cut sides of slider buns in a skillet or under the broiler for 1–2 minutes.
- Assemble: Place a hot chicken slider on the bottom half of each bun. Top with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a drizzle of honey mustard sauce.
- Finish and serve: Cap with the bun top and serve immediately while warm.
Notes
For a lighter option, use turkey bacon or plant-based bacon. Gluten-free buns are also an option.
