Description
Tender salmon fillets enveloped in a rich, buttery glaze infused with the sweetness of honey and the aromatic punch of garlic.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley (or 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- A pinch of paprika
- 1 lemon, sliced into half-moons
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F, fan).
- Line a baking tray with foil or a silicone mat for easy cleanup.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared tray.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika until well combined.
- Drizzle this buttery mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, making sure they’re well-coated.
- Arrange lemon slices on and around the salmon to enhance its flavor during baking.
- Bake in the oven for 8 minutes.
- Carefully baste the salmon with the sauce from the tray, and return it to the oven.
- Bake for an additional 4-7 minutes, or until the salmon is fork-tender and cooked through.
- Serve warm alongside your favorite side dishes.
Notes
Feel free to substitute honey with maple syrup or use different fresh herbs.
