Description

Tender salmon fillets enveloped in a rich, buttery glaze infused with the sweetness of honey and the aromatic punch of garlic.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley (or 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • A pinch of paprika
  • 1 lemon, sliced into half-moons

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F, fan).
  2. Line a baking tray with foil or a silicone mat for easy cleanup.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared tray.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika until well combined.
  5. Drizzle this buttery mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, making sure they’re well-coated.
  6. Arrange lemon slices on and around the salmon to enhance its flavor during baking.
  7. Bake in the oven for 8 minutes.
  8. Carefully baste the salmon with the sauce from the tray, and return it to the oven.
  9. Bake for an additional 4-7 minutes, or until the salmon is fork-tender and cooked through.
  10. Serve warm alongside your favorite side dishes.

Notes

Feel free to substitute honey with maple syrup or use different fresh herbs.
