Description
Creamy and comforting One-Pot Chicken Alfredo Pasta, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large, heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30–45 seconds.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Add a pinch of salt if necessary.
- Add the fettuccine to the simmering broth, stirring occasionally. Cook according to package instructions for al dente.
- Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and shredded chicken, heating gently.
- Gradually add the grated Parmesan, stirring constantly until melted and the sauce thickens. Adjust consistency with extra broth if needed.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
Keep the heat low when adding cream to prevent the sauce from separating. Use freshly grated Parmesan for a smoother sauce.
