Description

Easy-to-assemble mini pizzas built on Hawaiian rolls, perfect for weeknight dinners, potlucks, or game-day gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 package soft Hawaiian rolls (12 count), sliced horizontally
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade), about 1 tablespoon per roll
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni or other toppings: bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, cooked sausage (thin), etc.
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning (or a pinch each of dried oregano and basil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place the bottom halves snugly in a baking dish.
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bottom halves.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the sauce and add your toppings.
  5. Place the top halves back on the sliders and press gently.
  6. Brush melted butter mixed with garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the tops.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for another 5–10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let rest for 2–3 minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

These sliders can be customized with different toppings and sauces. For a lower-fat version, use part-skim mozzarella. For dairy-free, choose dairy-free cheese alternatives.
