Description

A luxurious seafood lasagna featuring layers of tender noodles, succulent shrimp, and luscious crab, all in a rich Alfredo sauce.


Ingredients

  • 12 sheets of lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 sprigs of parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumb topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil the lasagna noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside to cool.
  3. In a large pan over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Sauté the garlic for about a minute.
  4. Add the shrimp to the pan. Cook until they turn pink and opaque, around 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in the crab meat, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the Parmesan, one cup of mozzarella, parsley, and heavy cream. Mix until smooth and well-blended.
  7. Spread a layer of Alfredo sauce in a 9×13 inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  8. Layer the noodles, cheese mixture, seafood, and sauce. Repeat this process until you have three layers, finishing with noodles and Alfredo sauce on top.
  9. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan, mozzarella, and breadcrumbs.
  10. Cover the dish loosely with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
  11. Allow the lasagna to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

Pairs beautifully with a crisp green salad and crusty garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
