Description

Delicious and hearty sandwiches packed with grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and gooey cheddar cheese drizzled with ranch.


Ingredients

  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 pound grilled chicken tenders
  • 8 slices of cooked bacon
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup dill pickle chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the hoagie rolls in half lengthwise, keeping them connected on one side.
  3. Spread butter on the inside of each hoagie roll and toast them on a baking sheet in the oven for about 5 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. While the rolls toast, grill the chicken tenders until fully cooked, approximately 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Once toasted, fill each hoagie roll with the grilled chicken tenders.
  6. Layer two slices of bacon and a generous amount of shredded sharp cheddar cheese on top of the chicken.
  7. Return the sandwiches to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
  8. Remove from the oven and drizzle ranch dressing generously over the melted cheese.
  9. Top the sandwiches with dill pickle chips and serve warm.

Notes

Feel free to substitute the chicken with your favorite protein. Try adding coleslaw for extra crunch!
