Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt until the batter is very smooth and pourable.
  2. Let the batter rest for 20–30 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  4. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the center of the pan and swirl to create a thin layer.
  5. Cook for 1–2 minutes until edges lift, and the bottom is golden.
  6. Flip the crepe and cook for an additional 30–60 seconds until fully set.
  7. Stack finished crepes on a plate, keeping them warm until all are cooked.
  8. Serve warm with your choice of fillings or toppings.

Notes

For a lactose-free option, substitute milk with dairy-free alternatives like almond or oat milk.
