Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt until the batter is very smooth and pourable.
- Let the batter rest for 20–30 minutes at room temperature.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the center of the pan and swirl to create a thin layer.
- Cook for 1–2 minutes until edges lift, and the bottom is golden.
- Flip the crepe and cook for an additional 30–60 seconds until fully set.
- Stack finished crepes on a plate, keeping them warm until all are cooked.
- Serve warm with your choice of fillings or toppings.
Notes
For a lactose-free option, substitute milk with dairy-free alternatives like almond or oat milk.
