Description

Juicy beef meatballs coated in a sweet-and-salty glaze, paired with roasted broccoli on a bed of rice or noodles.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, and green onions in a bowl, then form into meatballs.
  3. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan, then bring to a simmer.
  5. Add roasted broccoli to the meatballs and pour the sauce over them.
  6. Serve on a bed of rice or noodles.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding sesame seeds on top before serving.
