Description
Juicy beef meatballs coated in a sweet-and-salty glaze, paired with roasted broccoli on a bed of rice or noodles.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, and green onions in a bowl, then form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
- Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan, then bring to a simmer.
- Add roasted broccoli to the meatballs and pour the sauce over them.
- Serve on a bed of rice or noodles.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding sesame seeds on top before serving.
