Description

A quick and indulgent Cajun chicken pasta dish with a smoky, garlicky cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken slices with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  5. Stir in garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  7. Add Parmesan cheese and lemon juice; mix well.
  8. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until coated.

Notes

For a slow-cooker version, add ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
