Description
A quick and indulgent Cajun chicken pasta dish with a smoky, garlicky cream sauce.
Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken slices with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the seasoned chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Stir in garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese and lemon juice; mix well.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until coated.
Notes
For a slow-cooker version, add ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
