Description

Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water


Instructions

  1. Mix the warm water, yeast, and sugar in a bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine flour and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the yeast mixture to the flour and stir until combined.
  4. Cover the bowl with a damp towel and let the dough rise for 1-2 hours.
  5. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  6. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
