Description

A delightful appetizer featuring crispy baguette slices topped with creamy goat cheese and a luscious blueberry mixture.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush the baguette slices with olive oil and lay them out on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake the baguette slices for 8-10 minutes, or until they turn golden and crispy.
  4. Combine the balsamic vinegar and honey in a small pan over medium heat.
  5. Add the fresh blueberries to the pan and cook until they soften and release their juices.
  6. Spread goat cheese generously on top of each crostini once the baguette slices are ready.
  7. Spoon the warm blueberry mixture over the cheese, then finish with a sprinkle of fresh thyme.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a creamier alternative, use cream cheese instead of goat cheese. Pair with a crisp white wine for an enjoyable experience.
