Description

These brownie cookies combine chewy brownie texture with rich chocolate flavor, topped with colorful mini chocolate eggs for a festive touch.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini chocolate eggs (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a large bowl, then mix in the sugar until thoroughly combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients gradually until fully combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips delicately.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
  8. Press mini chocolate eggs into the tops gently.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until set around the edges.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For dairy-free options, substitute unsalted butter with margarine. Experiment with different types of chocolate chips if desired.
