Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups Easter M&Ms


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter with both types of sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in each egg one at a time, ensuring everything is well combined, and add in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  6. Fold in the Easter M&Ms, saving some for the tops.
  7. Drop dollops of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
