Description
A whimsical no-bake dessert featuring layers of crushed Oreos, light French vanilla pudding, and fluffy whipped topping, finished with playful gummy worms.
Ingredients
- 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed (about 3 cups of crumbs)
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant French vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk (whole or low-fat)
- 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- Gummy worms, for garnish
Instructions
- Make the pudding: In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and milk for about 1 minute until smooth, then let sit for 4–5 minutes to thicken.
- Fold in topping: Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the pudding until uniform, then stop folding as soon as streaks disappear.
- Build the layers: Press half of the crushed Oreos into the bottom of your serving dish, then spread half of the pudding mixture on top.
- Repeat layers: Add another layer of crushed Oreos and then the remaining pudding mixture. Finish with the remaining crushed Oreos on top.
- Garnish and chill: Arrange gummy worms on top and chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For extra richness, fold in softened cream cheese. For a chocolate variation, swap out the French vanilla pudding for instant chocolate pudding.
