- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- Mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, and instant coffee granules until well combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in chocolate chips for that extra fudgy texture.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick; it should come out with a few moist crumbs.
- Prepare the coffee frosting while the brownies cool. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering, then remove from heat. Whisk in powdered sugar and additional coffee until smooth.
