Description

Warm, flaky ham and cheese croissants that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of pre-made croissant dough
  • 4 ounces of sliced ham
  • 4 ounces of sliced cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional: mustard or other condiments for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the croissant dough package instructions.
  2. Roll out the croissant dough and cut it into triangles.
  3. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each triangle.
  4. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, forming a croissant shape.
  5. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the croissants for a golden, glossy finish.
  7. Bake according to package instructions or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Serve warm with a side of mustard or your favorite condiment.

Notes

For a twist, try using turkey or smoked salmon instead of ham. Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for even melting.
