Ingredients
- 1 package of pre-made croissant dough
- 4 ounces of sliced ham
- 4 ounces of sliced cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the croissant dough package instructions.
- Roll out the croissant dough and cut it into triangles.
- Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each triangle.
- Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, forming a croissant shape.
- Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the croissants for a golden, glossy finish.
- Bake according to package instructions or until golden brown and puffed.
- Serve warm with a side of mustard or your favorite condiment.
Notes
For a twist, try using turkey or smoked salmon instead of ham. Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for even melting.
