Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 cups green beans
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Liberally season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper before placing them in the heated skillet.
  4. Sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, swirling until the butter melts and the garlic releases its fragrant aroma.
  6. Squeeze the juice of the lemon over the chicken, adding a zesty flavor.
  7. Toss the green beans into the skillet, mixing them to coat with the garlic-lemon sauce.
  8. Transfer the entire skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the beans are tender.

Notes

For extra garlic flavor, add more cloves. You can also substitute butter with olive oil for a healthier twist.
