Description

Ingredients

  • 5 croissants, torn into 1-inch pieces
  • 1.75 cups mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp finely grated lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted (for topping)
  • 3 tbsp cream (for topping)
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Whisk together milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla, lemon zest, and cinnamon with the cream cheese.
  4. Fold in the croissant pieces and mixed berries.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and let it sit for a few minutes.
  6. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  7. Prepare the topping by whisking together the powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla bean paste until smooth.
  8. Serve warm, drizzled with the sweet cream.
