Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking pan by greasing it lightly.
- Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring they’re well mixed after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mix to the wet mixture, alternating with milk until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
