Ingredients
- 4 slices of challah, brioche, or whole wheat bread
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Butter, for cooking
- Maple syrup, for serving
Instructions
- Mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture between two slices of bread to create a sandwich.
- Repeat with the remaining slices.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, and cinnamon in another bowl.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
- Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture briefly.
